• Priceline makes local buy
Priceline is reported to have acquired Qlika, an Israel-based “micro-location” ad campaign startup, for an undisclosed fee. It is thought that Qlika will be used to support Priceline’s Agoda brand in its expansion into the Asia Pacific region. Details on the deal were scant, with rumours putting the price at anywhere between USD3m and USD20m.
