TripAdvisor has fallen foul of the UK’s Advertising Standards Agency, which has ruled that in future advertising it must not claim or imply that its reviews are from real travellers, or are honest, real or trusted. The company protested that the ruling flew “in the face of common sense”. The decision only affects future advertising
